Simple, community-centered worship with four-part a cappella singing, Scripture reading, and a sermon focused on practical Christian living and peacemaking.
Mennonite communities are known for their radical hospitality, simplicity, and commitment to peace. You'll find a deeply welcoming community rooted in Anabaptist faith.
What Mennonite and Anabaptist churches generally believe
Mennonite and other Anabaptist churches believe in the Trinity, Jesus Christ as the Son of God who died and rose again, and the Bible as God's Word, and salvation by grace through faith in Christ. Growing out of the 16th-century Radical Reformation, they emphasise following Jesus in daily life, baptism of believers, close-knit community, and peacemaking and nonviolence.
Compared with Catholics: Anabaptists baptise only believers, have no hierarchy or Pope, and see communion as a memorial. Compared with most Protestants, the main difference is their historic commitment to nonviolence.
